axle advice HELP!!!
so I am going to deploy to Afghanistan here in a few months and i plan on using what I have saved when I get back to start the transformation of my 2013 jku sport but Im torn because I want to end up with 37's, coil overs, pro rock 60's, and a ripp. Then I get back to reality and realize I cant afford all of that straight up so this is my dilemma realistically I will probable get back with around 9-12 grand in the bank to spend on my new addiction.
I was thinking of wheels and tires and a lift but if I get the coils and long arms (EVO double throwdown system) I want I wont have the ends for wheels and tires. and I cant just get wheels and tires because they wont fit unless I lift it. I refuse to do a budget boost and spend a couple hundred dollars when Im going to replace it later on so Im thinking of just slapping a pair of pro rocks on it and let the rest fall into place
Ive also considered just upgrading my current axles but then again I dont just want to waist the money on it when its going to be replaced later on.

If 37's are your end game, consider the prorock 44, and trussing and locking your rear axle. You can get both the PR44 and build your rear for the price (or less than) a Dana 60 front.
For a lot of members here, the Dana 44 combo has held up well to 37's. Hell, even my 30/44 combo has held up, but it's a timebomb.
As far as lift and tires goes, what makes you want to go straight for coilovers? Sure they are awesome, but you can score a solid coil lift and high performance shocks coupled with long arms often for half the price of that kit.
Just my .02
Thank you for your service

The reason I want to go straight to coil overs is I see a lot of guys that buy lifts then want something better so I figured if I get those I won't run into that issue... I just don't want to get something then later on want something more

I run the front PR44 with stock internals on 37's, I wheel a ton of technical large rock beds locked and love the setup. Also my .02, I run a 3.5" RK Midarm and have never once thought I need coilovers and long arms.

I would agree. A 60 rear for sure but the front axle does not see the stress of the rear. A rubi take off or a prorock 44 would be plenty. If doing the PR44 I would order it with the same 68.5" width of the rear 60. It will give you 3" more in width and allow you to run a 37x13.5 tire with a 4.5" bs wheel and no spacers.
The 44 will also give you more clearance with steering up front with the smaller center section. The 60 is nice, don't get me wrong, either one you choose will do you well with 37" tires. The 60 will however give you a much stronger r&p, wheel hubs, and a lock out.
The double throw down is a very nice set up but overkill unless you are planning on racing it.

I have been considering the 3.5 coil kit that RK offers I've heard a lot of good things about their warranty

I've heard a lot of good thinks about RK warranty so I have considered the 3.5 coil kit they offer and I've thought about just going with EVO bolt on coil kits after seeing what they did for the RUBICAT

I don't think I heard this option yet,,, but since PR60's are your dream set up, start by getting the PR60 in the front(the front is the weak link),,,, Leave your d44 in the rear,, it should hold up to the 37's just fine if you don't abuse it. Get your lift,, maybe go used on the rims and tires,, them wheel!!!! Later down the road you can get the rear PR60. Good luck and stay safe in that god forsaken sand box!

this sounds like the most convenient route possible! Would it be an issue if I'm running different gear ratios in the front and rear?
