Default Axle

Hey guys. I am new to the while world of jeep and mods an all and I know this may be a stupid question but please only positive comments please.

I have the 2008 wrangler unlimited X which came with the stock axle (whatever it was) and one day my tire blew, slung me off the side of the road, and caused me to destroy my front axle. I believe they replaced it with another stock axle but I font know what Dana # it is?

Any way to find out?
Thanks guys

there should be an axle model number stamped on the axle -bottom, on the side where the long tube meets the housing

Just take a pic of the axle itself. More than likely it's the D30

Haha both of those pics are on the front axle! The side that says Dana is facing toward the front. So 30 or 44?

No I mean the whole axle pumpkin. Both the 30 and 44 have a distinct shape. But from what I can see I believe it's a 30

That's a 30 in the pic. Guaranteed
