Default Auxillary Backup Light pictures

Am considering adding an auxiliary backup light. I am looking at smaller LED and will likely put it on a switch to use when needed. I am wanting to see pictures of some of the locations, light types and switch locations some of you guys have tried. Thanks!

I added a pair of Rigid Duallys (floods) to the frame after I ditched the rear bumper, wired on their own. They throw plenty of light back there!

The switch locations will be the same across the board no matter what folks are running. You've got the spod across the windshield, switches in the a pillar, switches just above the driver's side speaker, and switches down below the a/c controls. A few people have put switches where the power windows go.

I started out with some kc 55w fog lights as reverse lights and they were awesome. Obviously not on par with rigid dually's, but still very bright. *Bear in mind that this is a camping and dune runner- not a rock crawler, so the location is fine for my application*

Then I got a new bumper and it had provisions for backup lights so I used them and they aren't nearly as bright as I hoped they would be. Poor choice for $100. GR "3 led" back up lights, 3 led's per light x 4 lights. The kc's would have still worked but I wanted all LED.

My lights are currently run to come on with the reverse circuit as well as when I flip my switch.

Put two 6in led bars from Blitzpro. Works well with plenty of light from behind

I got one single Blitzpro Hawk 6D light, driving pattern, mounted to my Jerry can carrier. I have it hooked up to its own switch so I can use it in the woods to see behind me or for if I want to use it backing up. Also comes in handy when ppl are tailgating or using high beams behind u lol. I also swapped my stock reverse bulbs for led replacements.

I just replaced my A-Pillar Mounted Rigid D2 Driving lights with D2 Hyperspots so I decided to move one of the D2 Driving lights to the rear of the Jeep as a backup light.

The Backup light is triggered by putting the Jeep in reverse. I used an old antenna mount that I had to mount the D2 on the spare tire carrier.

I am very pleased with the D2 Driving as a reverse light and the Hyperspots are perfect on the A-Pillar mounts for additional distance.

I also did the KC fogs, they mounted right up to factory holes in the frame. I spliced into the reverse light to kick on the relay but also ran a switch up front so I can turn them on when needed. I'm sure I could rub them off if fi really tried, but don't think I ever come close.
