Default Artec front axel armor kit and nitro sleeves

I will be getting the artec front axel armor kit for my Dana 30 front axel and I was wondering if I should do the nitro sleeves as well for added strength. My question is will it actually add any more strength to do the nitro sleeves since it will be trussed on the outside?

One or the other, both aren't necessary.

I was gonna do both but when I called Northridge4x4 to place the order they talked me out of it. Did just the truss and bought Synergy balljoints with money saved.

Truss only and ball joints forget the sleeves in my opinion.

Some ppl do the sleeves first to help with bending while welding the truss. Also the truss will help with the up down bending of the axle not the front to back whereas the sleeves will. It's not much money to throw the sleeves in and I would if funds allow although it prob isn't nessasary

Over engineering isn't a bad thing.

Here is a picture of a trussed JK. At least it held the two sides together. I'm personally in favor of sleeves. A truss doesn't make up for 1/4" wall and small diameter.

Invest posted a pic of a trussed factory housing that had shattered. There are other pics on here of sleeved factory housings that shattered in the same spot.

So x2 on the comment by tooadvanced...

How much you put into it just depends on personal opinion and usage and budget and future plans.
