Arggghhh!! 35"s out of stock!
Ok guys. I ordered mu tf 2.5 coil lift and tried to order my 35" duratracs only to find out they are out of stock everywhere and will take 3-4 weeks to get in!
So I can order 5 33" duratracs to put on with the lift or order a different 35. I will not wait so that's not an option. Should I get the 33" duratrac or can anyone recomend another 35? It has to be a good all around at tire as my area sees lots of crappy winter roads and I will wanna use it on trails in the summer.
Thanks. I need to make my choice by 6pm so I can tell my guy to get the order ready for first thing Monday morning (closed tomorrow).

Get another 35, you'll kick yourself daily for going with 33's. (and aren't the duratracs load E? I like the looks and reviews on these tires, but I'll be looking for some C's when it's time to re-shoe... )

Speaking from personal experience - wait. I know waiting sucks, but get what you want the first time. I lifted mine and was looking at tires just before the new KM2's came out last year. I didn't want to wait, and decided to go with the BFG AT's.
I understand that they are totally different tires, but was new to the whole Jeep and off-roading thing back then, and didn't know any better.
Unless you plan on upgrading in the near future, wait. Just my $.02.

Use your stock wheels for winter...Honestly I change out my Cooper STT's and Toyo M/T's every winter as both these tires stink on ice & wet slushy snow with the harder rubber compound and very little sipping you are skating lots!!!!
In the spring, summer, fall use your 35's!
If you hate the stock tires get them sipped or swap them for some true winter tires to run for 4 or 5 months out of the year. Just my 2Cents.

I am advocate of doing thing right. If you researched tires in depth and decided the Duratracs were the best for your needs, then by all means wait for them.
But, AFAIK those tires are not leaders in any category, maybe treadwear .
The Toyos have better traction in mud (although Interco's are king), the KM2s have better road manners, the Mickeys are better in sand, the Pro Comps cost less, ...

Same thing happened to us. Put the TF 2.5" coil lift on 2 weeks ago, ProComps were backordered 3 weeks, then 4, then eta Jan. 5, so we went with different 35's. Got them on 2 hours ago
