According to info it is not exposed. I think it's the angle of the pic.

Though I suppose having someone fabricate some protection for it wouldn't be a bad idea.

This is definitely a mod I'll be looking into in the future.
Haha finding out there's a long range tank for petrol JK's made me happy!

ooooo I didn't think the long ranger was avaliable here

Looks like I will be ordering one soon. I am scared of how vulnerable it looks though...

Wow, that is almost 18 gal of additional fuel. Pretty dang cool, but not sure if it is worth the price. The money might be better spent torwards a chaser trailer and fuel cans.

I have 5 scepter cans that hold 5 gallons each and they won't have a risk of risk of being bashed on a rock

only cost me about 100 bucks instead of 1300

Yeah, the price is quite steep I must say.
A jerry can is $50 on Quadratec..
So errrr.. You can buy 34 jerry cans from Quadratec for the price of one long range tank. 34 jerry's = 170 gal :P
