Exclamation ARB Deluxe Bumper or ShrockWorks Stubby Bumper

Interested in finding out what everyones thoughts are regarding the choice I am trying to make between purchasing the ARB Deluxe Front Bumper and the ShrockWorks Stubby Bumper. It will be placed on my Rescue Green '08 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 4dr with 4" Rough Country Suspension lift, 17" ATX Artillery Wheels or Mickey Thompson Sidebiters, and 35" Firestone Destination M/T tires. Plenty of future purchases coming but this one is holding me up. Thanks for the input

ARB is sweet, plus you will get it in 2009.

ditto on that.

I have/love the ARB and the way it looks on the JK.

Heard only good things about Shrockworks when people get them. (sounds like their stepping up their turnaround time but I imagine there's a serious backlog).

Question though- you said Shrockworks stubby - that's definitely different style then ARB which I'd say is a full +1.

Either way you'll have a winner.

Yea the shrockworks stubby is a completely different style just seemed to have alot of perks to it as well. I've heard plenty of positives for both just trying to get some help as this is one of the more important mods.

I am going to buck the trend and say go with the stubby.

Probably a significant difference in price, and IMO most stubbys looks better than the oversized ARB.

Your choice is easier than you think. I weighed these two bumpers myself, eventually deciding on the ARB when I made the decision to never cut my factory plastic for that flat fender look. If you do that with a full width bumper, you lose something aesthetically IMO - the ARB "flows" into the stock uncut fenders.

If on the other hand cutting your fender flares is something you might wind up doing, the stubby is the way to go because it leaves the front of your tires out there in space, unobstructed. Tres kewl.

I like 'em both. I bought the ARB and have thoroughly enjoyed it.

Get the bumper from David at Northridge 4x4, the price right now is incredible. The install was a piece of cake, the wiring is not as bad as some folks say, just take your time and dont rush it.
