Correct, I read somewhere in this forum ARB considers them indicators only. I've also read if you drop the wattage enough or go with LED bulbs you can skip the relays, but I personally cannot attest to either solution.

I'm going to try to get mine finished up in the morning, so will have more to report after.

I have identifies the wire that activates the flasher as the bottom wire of the three that go into the oem light clip. If you attach the correct wire from the ARB harness to that wire, the black wire to the bumper light black wire, and the remeining wire to the red wire from the bumper light, the wire you attached to the oem flasher wire will activate your relay and send power to the blinker. Clear as mud? I will figure out which of the two yellow and the two green wires get attached to the oem plug and which one goes to the red wire from the bumper light and post my results.

If that doesn't sound correct, let me know.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that the bulbs run too hot to be used as marker lights, so I hooked them up as indicators and they've been working fine in that configuration for some time.

You are correct I believe. Lenses have melted before on the ZJ and WJ bars I know first hand.

If you use an LED should be okay.

Alright, its done. I wired the yellow to the drivers side and green to the passenger side. Black to Black on bumper lights. Solid green/yellow to red on bumper light. Yellow with black line/green with black line gets spliced into the OEM harness. The OEM harness is wired black/white/white. Splice into the second white (third wire). I put the relays up by the battery where I wired the red and black directly to the battery.

My 2009 does not have the crush cans just crimped chasis so no welding extensions. If you have crush cans and don't do the extensions you may upset the airbag operation in an accident.

You're a good man!! Thanks for figuring this out. I don't have much "jeep" time this weekend but now that I know what goes where I can sneak it in.

Much appreciated
