What kind of gas mileage change is there between 4.88 and 5.13s? I mostly use my Jeep for commuting... maybe 5% off road. 2mpg makes a difference over time.

I've got 35s on 3.21 gears right now.

I am running 35's with 4:88 and have a lot more power than when I was running stock. I have the 6 speed. I would think 5:13's would be to low geared for the manual and 35's. Just my .02 cents.

Sweet, thanks Howdy. What is your gas mileage looking like? I have a 6-spd too.

Ooo, a VA Beach JK. I think I might of seen you cruising around a bit, not sure. I'm at my final decision on gearing too. I'm a manual and my math tells me 4.88. 4.56 would actually put me a stock like performance but with the extra weight of my bumpers and winch I was thinking 4.88. If I had an Unlimited Auto I would certainly go 5.13. It's a big decision. You thinking about using ETA to install?

I just installed 5.13's and they are perfect. I have a 2dr auto with 35's.

Just drove to Vail and it did GREAT on the highway too. Gas milage went up to 16.5.

Concurr, 5:13/Auto is perfect. Runs like stock (same NO power)
don't waste your money with 4:88/Auto for sure....

I have a 2 door auto so that's always good to know. I'll eventually do 35s and I was planning 5.13s. That drive to Vail (I assume you were traveling west out of Denver) is a good test of your gearing setup. (I worked out of a place I rented in Central City for a few years.)
