85fr16, sorry but I didn't measure anything before or after so I have no idea how much it really changed the height of things.
As for doing and alignment, I think I am going to but mostly because I recently installed new tires, wheels and the spacer lift as well as I've never had and alignment done since I bought it new from the Jeep dealer.

I have seen instructions for several spacer lifts, some say put the isolators on top of the spacers, others put it on the bottom, others tell you to toss them. Personally I would keep them on the jeep, because later you may want to upgrade to a coil lift and you will still have them. I did spacer then isolator then spring when I did my Daystar lift a few years ago and it worked well. When I moved up to Rustys coils, I had the factory isolators right there.

I Just finished installation of my kit on Monday, I removed the rear isolater and left the front in just as the instructions state,
i'm installing an AEV font bumper as well as a Recon winch this weekend(hopefully)

The Teraflex gives you 1/2" more lift in the front and 1" more in the rear than the AEV and includes a trackbar bracket. Basically it's the same kit as the AEV if you get the one with the shock extensions. It comes down to how much lift you want and the price. The Teraflex is about $80 more.

I bought mine cause' i got a smoking deal on it and didn't want to mess around with the factory ride quality, as well as the ease of installation.
