ya man i would wait to install both cause you have to do too much just to unbolt the bumper in a week. Im not sure about the handle. I have the one like the others above. I did hear they changed the handle though

Thanks for the reply. So I would pretty much have to remove the new bumper just to install the tire carrier?

I have a question about the install though. Right now I just have the bumper portion, the tire carrier will be here in a few weeks. Should I just wait and install both when I get the tire carrier, or should I just go ahead and get the bumper installed?

Also, not that it really matters, but it looks like both of your tire carriers use a different latch than the one I bought. Mine looks like a TJ door handle:

Did they change their design?
Never saw that design before.... the overall structure looks a bit weaker to me not to mention it appears that they did away with the 3rd brkelight bracker unless it's not pictured. I would send the rugged rudge guy a pm or ask him a question under the rugged ridge section in sponsoring vendors

the original latch was replaced because they were breaking, the new latch appears to be the same however ours has yet to break although it's alot more loose then it used to be.

Ya you do all but take the one off to put on the tire carrier. As for the third brake light. you use the stock one. Its pretty simple and looks good
