Default Anyone running 35" tires with no lift?

Is it possible to fit 35" tires on a JK without any lift? This would be strictly for on-road use and with plans to do a 3-4" lift. I am just curious to see if anyone has tried it.

If not, can you get there with a 1"-2" budget boost?

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend it without at least a 2" budget boost even if you are just using it on pavement.

Well I am sure that most won't recommend it, I am just curious if the tires will even fit in the hole. I have the Spidertrax spacers behind my Rubicon wheels.

Thanks,

Thanks,
The Spidertrax spacers will only prevent rubbing of your side walls but will most likely cause your tread to rub your fender flares on every bump or dip in the road you hit. But hey, it's your Jeep man.

Cool! So I guess that means you think they will fit in the hole.

I'm just messing with you. I really just want to know if anyone has tried it, but I doubt that they have. I have two vehicles with 35"s around, but no 5x5 wheels or I would give it a try in the driveway.
