Talking I have a lifetime 16.8MPG with my 4.10 x 35"

That's a decent price to pay for the fun it provides!!!

My Cherokee with V8 only got 14.8...

35 and 3.73 here. florida is flat, so im good.

Whats the different between the gear ratio's? more torqe at lower speeds?

I've found that 35" tires and 4.10 gears work fine (even hills are not that bad --> it's called down-shifting); I'm in a 6-speed, so that is probably the difference.

yeah for us auto trannys 5.13s is the way to go with 35in tires, thats what im throwing in once i get my tires

me too on this one, it does OK with 35s and 4.10, its a jeep, my dd did way better before I modified my jeep, my scooter does way better too, but i can't take it off road, so does my Harley, also probably my lawnmore,

I ran 4.10s and 35's for about a year. Like others have said, turn the OD off every time you get in and especially on uphill grades. You'll put undo wear (and heat} on your transmission.

It really isn't that bad. I run 5.13's now!

Pay no attention to toad and her resetting her MPH!
