Default Anyone running a 3" lift with a 2" BB?

I have a 2"bb on now. I just got my 3"SL. Anyone running them together? I'm afraid there will be too much drive line angle change, and probably more.
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks

Well, if you add a 3" SL to a 2" SL (BB = 2" SL), you'll have a 5" SL.

Do you WANT a 5" SL?

ALL the stuff the 3" SL avoids is suddenly negated...as you bumper into 5" lift instead.

At that point, I's say as the coils for the 5" SL and the 3" SL are typically about the same $, but the shocks for the 3" SL are now too short to work with the 5" SL, and you need new drive train parts, and so forth .....you might want to re-think the entire scheme.

Bottom line - Just install the 3" SL w/o the coil spacers, etc, from the 2" SL...and have a 3" SL....or, figure you are now buying EVERYTHING NEEDED to have a 5" SL.

Hope that helps!

Just wondering why would you be able to run a 2 inch BB without new shocks or anything? Why can't you add them to a SL? I know it sounds like a dumb question but i have heard alot of questions like this?

you can run a 2 inch bb without getting new shocks. but it will inhibit your trail performance as you will not get full axle droop. a lot of ppl get a bb with shock extensions to help with this. unless you have the rubi shocks i would just get the bb and spend some extra money for longer and better shocks. does this answer your question?
