Question Anyone running 18x9 wheels, like XD Hoss??

I am looking into the 18x9 XD Hoss wheels and I know for 17x8 you should have 4.5" BackSpacing.

But what about 18x9, it comes with either 4.5" or 5.7". I'm thinking the 9" wide wheel needs even less BS, right? So is 4.5" sufficient??

http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/XD795-Hoss-Black-Painted.aspx?t_c=11&t_s=210&t_pt=100106&t_pl=5352

Thanks in advance!

I plan to run 35x12.50 and the 2.5" Rough Country leveling coil kit on my 4dr Sahara.

I love those rims in black. Been thinking of ordering them black with the black psuedo bead locks. I have not seen them on a Jk yet but am worried as the spoke type rims look really wagonie (sp) on the wranglers.

I am currently running the 18x9 american eagle type 197 wheels with 33 13.5 18 tires with no issues at all. They have the 4.5 inch back spacing.

Is that what your asking?

Check out item #370137912249 on "e" bay.

They are for 17's, you can get a whole lot better tire selection and way cheaper price on 17's.

Actually, they are cheaper on www.4wheelparts.com for 17x9, but I really want the 18s... Also, the Nitto Mud Grapplers are actually cheaper for the 18s than the 17s (same site) I'm not sure why but it is a great deal on 35" tires for 18" wheels..

JKJosh, yes, thank you for posting.

Does anyone else have 18x9 ideally on 35s on a 2-3" lift that can comment here??

I just read on Pro Comp's website that their 2.5" BB fits 35x12.50 tires on 9" wide wheels so hopefully that means the RC 2.5" lift does too. The RC I hear is even a bit bigger as it is self-leveling, so it lifts the front 3" and the rear 2.5".

Thanks!!
