Default Anyone put air tank in place of stock muffler?

Has anyone mounted an air tank in place of the stock muffler yet? Just wondering if they make 'em that small... Maybe two long & skinny tanks connected in-line? :-)

Thanks,
js.

You could easily fit a 2.5 gal tank in it's place

That discussion has been done to death. I was looking for people that have done it.

Thanks,

I put the compressor under there with the winch, the air tank is in the "trunk"

Thus no KABOOM!!

I've thought about it, and haven't put one there... However, I think I recall being told once that there'd be a concern about mounting a tank outside due to the corrosion on the fittings, and associated leakage. Outside of the Kaboom thoughts, anyone know if corrosion of the fittings is truly a concern? If so, are there fittings that aren't susceptable to corrosion?

Thanks.
