Question Anyone move a Superwinch solenoid?

I am in the process of installing a Bumper and winch on my Jeep. I chose the AEV bumper and the Superwinch EP9.0 winch. The problem is that the I need to relocate the solenoid because it does not fit the bumper. The question is, where to put it? The relocation kit only allows you to move it 2 ft.

Thanks for the input!

I didn't know there was a relocation kit... where do you find those?

That is a good point, the major question now is, where do I relocate it to? Behind the bumper? In the engine capartment somewhere? There doesn't seem to be a *good* location for it. Has anyone does this who could share where they moved their's to?

There is a thread on here somewhere I read that a guy installed his solenoid (on a JK) in the engine compartment, right next to the battery. He has pics of the install - seemed to fit like a glove. Of course, he had to get longer wire to do it. Search the forum...you'll run into the thread.

Stick it between the grill and the radiator.

I just found a thread where someone put a WARN solenoid between the grill and the radio, assuming the Superwinch also fits, that would be perfect. Thanks!

Is this the one ? I think the Superwinch solenoid box is taller than the Warn and may not fit in this spot between the grill and radiator.
