Yep rugged ridge. My friend has them and the rings are removable and can be painted with plastidip to make them any color you want. Word of caution though if you are planning on using them in the rocks, the rings are pretty thin and bend easily and the bolts are exposed and get damaged quickly.

I have these and echo the damage to the bolts comment. Some of my bolts have actually fallen out. But they do protect the rim of the wheel better than having nothing on them, and the valve stem as well.

If you are looking for rims with paintable rock rings, have her check the MB 11 from discount tire. They come in black or brushed, with a black removable ring. With a quick search you should find pics from one guy who tried dark grey paint and then some kind of red-ish, in addition to the black.

I've always hated the original Rockstars, but the II's are much nicer if you don't go too big and add the body color to the removable spokes.
