Do the dents come out leaving the tell-tale white stressed plastic marks????

Sounds to me like you have a nice excuse to go aftermarket though

Remember your driving a JEEP not a BMW. Leave the dent and go hit the trails.

Default Air Pressure

I messed up my reader bumper and was able to get the dent out using a compressor. There are a few holes inside the bumper along the seam. This was my entry point. I plugged all of them, but one with my fingers, and then just put compressed air into the bumper and blew it up like a balloon. It worked pretty well. My friend was there to help cover some of the holes. It does have white stress marks, but they are barely noticeable. Plus it is a jeep.

Boil some water, that's what i used to pop mine out.

That way you dont melt the bumper, and you still heat it up enough to make the plastic soft.

Default Same Problem - Fixed

I had the same problem with my bumper. I dented it pulling into my garage too fast one day and hit the left side of my garage door opening (yeah, i know, stupid....). I was driving through a parking lot one day and this guy walks up to me after I got out of my JK and asked me if I wanted him to fix my bumper. He told me how he'd do it so I let him give it a shot....

He pulled a blow-torch (small one you could probably buy at Home Depot) and heated up the bumper. He popped a hole in the back of it with a screw driver. While it was still hot he pushed forward with the round part of a hammer and molded and smoothed the bumper back into shape. He then pulled out a cooling spray and cooled the bumper off. It now looks like it was never dented. It took him about five minutes to do this. I was amazed. As you can see in the below picture (although it's not a great close-up shot) the bumper looks good as new. Hope that helps.....

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I was going to get a new bumper so I figured I didn't have anything to lose.....
