What price range? I have a Gobi and my research pointed to it being tops in all categories. <img src="https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=587059"/> LOD has a new rack that looks really cool and neat features. Past experience showed kargo master to be okay. Sent from some string and a few tin cans.
I've been leaning towards the Gobi. Just want to make sure I do my research. I'm a fairly new jeep owner.
I appreciate the advice and feedback

The Gobi has holes predrilled and plugged with rubber that you simply pop out to run electrical wiring, hidden, to lights on the rack. Powder coating was too notch. The flooring in the rack looks to be only "spot welded" but is done on purpose and is quite solid. With it raised up slightly, it allows the powder coating to cover more thoroughly with enough thickness. If the flooring were welded directly to the support tubung, flat against it, there are some crevices where powder coating would not cover adequately. The packaging is amazing. The rack is sturdy. It held 16+ gallons of gas, all our luggage (5 people), two full sized hammocks with wooden spreaders, five folding chairs, ice chest, and a large duffel of other gear. Rack did great, the JK was slow!!! Yes, we did look like the Griswalds.

ran the Gobi on my '08 JKUR and most of my friends run it. No rattle noise. solid setup good for everything from hauling yaks to RTTs. sturdy, well built and worth the wait time. gives the flexibility to tilt for lowering your soft top. Btw I'd recommend AEV corners with the install.
