If you are talking about the mopar 2 inch spacer kit, it is made by superlift. Mopar puts their name on it so they could jack up the price. Your better off buying it from superlift. I have the kit on my jeep

I have the same warranty that you are talking about. So I had the Mopar Teraflix 2.5 spring lift with Fox shocks installed by my dealer and was told by them and another dealer that it is now covered with my full warranty. I had it put on my 2012 2door. It raised the front about 3.5 inches and the rear about 2.75 total. I love the left and it rides fantastic.

Picks of my Jeep before.

And after...

What was the price for the lift and the dealers charge for install?

$2400 for the full kit, all new arms front and back, new sway bar arms, springs, exhaust spacers for the front drive shaft brake line relocation brackets for back, new bump stops for both axles, and Fox shocks. $650 for the labor. That included the head light adjustment and alignment.

Now I know it can be cheaper and easier to do just springs and then add stuff later, but this is my DD and I want to keep my warranty.

The dealer I bought my Jeep from and then later had to put the kit on, is a mod friendly dealer. They always have a new jeep with a lift kit and 35's on the lot for sale.

They are sky high, but I have seen these lifts in person and they are very nice and of good quality

The 2012/2013 Mopar Performance lifts are made by TeraFlex, with 2" and 3" lift options. You can upgrade the stages (1, 2, or 3) which gives you the options of "performance", Bilstein, or Fox shocks. It's almost $500 cheaper to just buy a TeraFlex branded lift, just enough extra for a TF HD Tire Carrier!

whoever said the dealership will cover your warranty is high. any lift and tire modification will compromise your warranty if they can relate your suspension lift or tire change to the part that failed...

so basically, if you got 35's and a 2.5 or 4" lift, consider your powertrain warranty done.

This.

Even if its Mopar it won't matter. They cover the vehicle how it left the factory. Now a dealership should warranty the work they do, meaning if there is a problem with the install they will cover that, but if you have a problem that was caused by the lift then your factory warranty is pointless

Any reputable shop will warranty the work they do and won't charge as much as a dealer.

Default that was my understanding as well

and 35s could be conciderd void on power train as well puts a strain on the motor and tranny if they realy want to be jerks ! but like he said dealer might warranty but say they go under or you move try getting Chrysler to belive that the dealer said they will cover all ??????????? aint gona happen man !

the dealers are realy f#^in with the customers and Chrysler , mopar or not you can show your receipt but if its not written in a contract from Chrysler it was never said

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/modi...ership-262815/

this one would be covered if its on the sticker from factory but if not I believe its up to dealer to state that they added things but wont be responsible up to buyer

Well said guys. I laugh at the guys who got told that it won't void their warranty if they do all the work through the dealer
