Anyone have a jk that hasn't had something break after 4.5 with 37s?

Does the $10,000 include the AEV bumpers? That's half your budget right there. You'll have to be pretty easy on the throttle to have "no breakage" with stock parts, but I'm sure you can get by with that for a while. I ran 37s on a 2011 JKUR a few years back. Ended up breaking a front axle u-joint after three or four wheeling trips. The stock u-joint caps have a way of working their way off, which causes the u-joint to bind, and it breaks the ears off of the axle. And with those stock u-joints, that can happen even if you're easy on the skinny pedal.

[edit] Forgot to answer your question. Yes, I have a 2014 JK with a lift and 37s, that hasn't broke anything (yet). The drivetrain is not stock though.

I'm literally going to drive to the grocery store and back. Nothing should break at that price

This is a fun thread, check the pic in the first post. Stock JK, stock tires, onroad, just running into a curb at low speed...

No way of knowing what 'will' happen, so just research what 'could' happen so you can make more informed decisions on which mods fit your particular usage/needs. (and btw, broken housings are not common at all, just threw it up there to give you a headache worrying about it...)

I have a 2012 Ruby (3.6) with 5:13's, 4.5 AEV and 37's.
Sleeved and gusseted the front at the suggestion of a knowledgeable friend.

Bought the rig new, did the mods before I drove it.
I have added this or that since, moderate wheeling the whole time.

42K miles mostly street.
Some moderate trails like the naches, some snow runs.

Seems solid so far (knock on wood).
Doing some snow running tomorrow on 8120 out of Chelan.

Love my jeep, the first vehicle with more than 2 wheels I have really enjoyed.
