I guess it's also worth noting that I found the disconnect still attached to the lower (bent) mount. The top had somehow been forced off, is this related to it being difficult to steer left on the switchback?
assuming the length was incorrect, is my electronic disco now screwed up?

Had it happen to me when 2 wheeling with lots of ruts in the road.
Ripped the lower connect on driver's side off the thumb pin.
Now, never use the electro disconnect, but have the Teraflex quick disconnects
with the JKS adjustable swaybars links.
My lower driver's side thumb pin bracket is bent so using the adjustable
JKS's I can slightly have the lower knob turned parallel with the pin.
Plus have the passenger link slightly longer to help with the JK lean.
