Anyone ever had regrets after getting 37's and go back to 35's?

The rock climbing and trail riding are totally different animals on the axles of jeep. It's all depending on what you do. I think I have had to reseal my front diff like 4 times. Had the front end bouncing plenty of times on the rocks here. Still going strong on 35s and 6 inch lift on the way. People say it looks silly with the 6 inch lift. I don't care. At least I out the money in to it and I use it to drive everywhere. I laugh at all the lifted trucks with mud tires that have never seen mud. What a waste.

I guess your right some people might be able to get away with 37's and 4.10's with the 3.6 but some that live in colorado or west VA might not be able to do that. I'm lucky here no mountains. It takes a 6 hr drive for me to get from the coast to the appalachian mountains.

I just bought some 8.5 5x127 -6 Level 8 Trackers they are 4.5" backspace. I picked a 17" wheel due to the fact I can go bigger with a 17" wheel vs a 16" which only go's up to 315 75r16 that is only 34.4"

My JKU has a 3" bb and 37's on a 16" rim. I've added 1.5" backspacers to minimize rubbing when I'm trail riding. Im not the first owner, so I'm not sure what the last guy did. Thus, I'm looking to drop down to a 35" tire, remove the 3" pucks and do to a 2.5" or 3" suspension lift. No real rock climbing here for me, only a couple trails where we jeep. Also, as mentioned, I dont think I'm ready to dump the $1500+ in to the suspension mods to save my driveline.

Why not run a 2.5 coil with short shocks and or swaybar links to limit for a Rubicon if you disconnect or not worry about it if you don't disconnect. Run 35's if you want, or add flat fenders or put a Rough Country 1.25 BL trim pinch seams and there you have set for 37's with stock shafts!!!
Here's a 2012 with 2.5 Teraflex and 1.25 BL trimmed pinch seams!!
Remember diff between "most" 35 and 37's are 2 inches them divide that my 2 means 1 inch difference. Finding a lighter 37x12.5 is best option for daily drivers
