Anyone ever had regrets after getting 37's and go back to 35's?

Dana 44 will handle 35 with no problem. 37 are where you will start to push them to the limit. Yes there are plenty of people out there that have ran 37+ on 44s with no problem. It all depends on what you will be doing with it too. I don't want to fix a broken axle because due to bigger tires so I stuck to 35s. They work great for rock crawnlling. They only thing that I'm limited by is I have a 2 door and not a 4 door. But it still kicks butt.

Hipiev is right, you can add 35 inch types with not too many mods. Once you go 37 or bigger there is a lot more to do.
If price doesn't matter go with the 37

Yes. It might and might not mess it up. But you said built 44s. I'm not saying running anything over 35s will kill a 44 from the start. It could run for ever on 37s. But the risk goes up after 35s. It's all depending on the driver and the trails too. Vegas is all rocks and bigger rocks. I would not run anything bigger than 35s. And points for knowing at some point they will give out on you. You know its putting a lot of stress on the 44s.

I guess i'm the odd ball out. I'm still rocking stocker on my JKU Rubi and im bumping up to 33's & don't plan on anything bigger. My kids and wife have a hard enought time getting in and I still have not put on the 3'' lift yet

I agree with this ^^. I have a '12 JKUR 6 speed on 37's and 4.10's and it's really not too bad. Granted the 3.6 AND the 6 speed helps a lot. I actually lost 2lbs each corner when I moved from 35's to 37's. I have 35" duratracs and moved to 37" mtr kevlars and a lightweight alloy wheel and had zero loss in power. I think that is only due to the mtr/k's only weight 74lbs each in 37" size.
If you're moving up to 37's and are worried about performance, then get a light tire and wheel combo like the mtr/k and try to keep your weight down. Plus it's less stress on components with the lighter weight.
Hope this helps

I agree with most of the post here, I went from 33's to 35's and I am very happy. Yes I would love to have 37's but without investing in the beefing up of the axle and the drive shafts and gears and lockers I think I am going to wait. I think I am going to jump up to a whole new axle assembly and then when it is all built up I will consider the tire change. Til then it wheels just fine for me!

I've done a few on friends 2012's Sahara's and a few 2013 Rubicons now they are just running 33's and 35's
