Default anyone done this to there front seats??

Wondering of anyone has or ever thought of taking out there center concal/center glove apartment and replace it with a seat or turned it into a center chair!? Show some pics please! Been wanting to do this

thats gonna be a tight fit, dont think you could squeeze a person in there, plus what do you do about the shifter?

I'm sure it could be done but the seat and brackets would all be custom. Foot room for the passenger would be an issue. No room on the drivers side; it would interfere with the pedal. The only mechanical issue would be the e-brake, another huge fabricating issue. All in all not worth it.

The only reason a setup like that works in a truck is because of the seat height from the floor. The jeeps seat are more like an average car. (NO, I did not call a jeep a car)

Yeah it probable can't be done. I was just wondering if it can be done so my girl friend can . . . "lay down and sleep on my lap" :cough cough cough: without that thing in the way. but thanks anyways!

Yeah it does seem like alot of work but it will be worth it. I also thought about switching the front and back seats lol! But won't work. But I will find out how to do it and I'll let you guys know! Hope to inspire all lol

if you need more passenger room, i might recommend adding a 3rd row of seats in the back instead. would be a lot easier and more practical and teraflex offers a kit to do this now.
