Default Anyone with 5.13? On a automatic?

So today I finally added my 5.13 gears to my jk I'm just curious what type of ride should I feel? When I'm at 40-45mph I'm sitting right at two and under on the rpm scale. When I take off such as after a red or stop sign feels like it kicks into diff gears very quickly. Is that normal feel for all that and what's a way to know a huge difference? When I ride at about 40-45 it's how it use to feel with my 3.73 but had the OD off now I obiv have OD on. Also have 35s on it as well if that info helps. Any advice be great.

That sounds about where I'm at. When I'm at about 120kmh/75mph I'm still around 2. Did you reprogram?

Not yet. Have a superchip and doing that tonight to add gear size and tire and all. When I take off kinda feels like I need gears the rpm bounces right up quick but then dials down when I get to 30 or above and stay around 2rpm. Haven't done 70mph yet cause driving least 500 miles lower than 60 then re-oil then can have fun on highway. Have u program yours? Does yours seem this way as well?

Just remember to break them in and get the fluid changed at 500 miles. I got the same setup and like it. Wish I woulda went a setp high for when I run 37's. I hear the superchips tune will give you some nice power and if its like the Bullydog then you can make the TR as sensitive as you'd like.

Sorry kinda new to this all TR? Also how break them in? Just driving basically and adding those miles? Should I stop after certain amount driven and if so how long before continuing to drive again. Going to do superchip tonight I don't know anything about it other than plug in and go so hopefully it's easy.

I have been told for the first 500 miles on new gears you should stop every 50 miles and let them cool before you go again. I myself will be going with the 5.13's on my 2dr auto.

Well I wish the place that installed my gears would have mentioned the break in period, First trip outta the shop was a 2 hour road trip down I-5 at 75 mph.

That should help. I used the aev procal on mine and it drives just like stock if not better. Shifting all seems normal to me.
