Default Dick cepek crushers

I really like the Dick Cepek crusher I have on my JK.
They are a little bit noisey( HUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM ) but that sound is sweet to my ears. (It is a Jeep thing !!!)
I have not take it mudding yet but they attack the sand and self clean very well !!!

Those are neat looking tires. It is almost like a more affordable Nitto Mud Grappler.

Bump on this.

Seems like an alternative as an all terrain tire. Anybody have any oppinions on these tires, positive and negative?

I have used the crusher on my 3/4 ton Duramax, I prefer the Dick Cepek Mud Country on my jeeps, just a preference. It seems to perform better in the rain on asphalt, and still crawls and handles mud very well. A lot more quiet than the crusher also on the street. They both wear very as far as I'm concerned. It is a medium compound tire (unlike a BFG that, is a hard compound), that gives great grip on hard surfaces. Nitto and Toyo are virtually one in the same, since they are manufactured by the same plant, only difference is price,(Nitto is slightly higher).

I have seen this tire at a tire shop, and IMO, I didn't think it looked as good as the Nitto Mud Grappler. The DC Mud Coutry is a pretty good tire and probably quiter.

Talking Thanks

How much did you get out of your crushers and your mud co. tires? miles... I was wondering how the crusher wore and how it handeld the rain.... Maybe the DC fc II might be a good choice.....
