Is anybody running a Synergy Jeep JK Front Track Bar & Sector Shaft Brace Kit ???
I have a 2015 Rubicon Hard Rock Unlimited and I'm looking to move up to 37's tires from 35's and want to take the proper precautions. I'm looking into purchasing a Synergy Jeep JK Front Track Bar & Sector Shaft Brace KiI haven't seen any wright ups on it and not sure if it's a waste of money or not, but I don't want to damage the frame or my steering box. I'm also going to install "C" gusset set kit from Evo MFG. I know the new Dana 44 front axle's are beefier then the old units but just don't want to bend or break anything when I go wheeling. Thanks.

I'm running those items. Installs easily and doesn't cause any steering problems. Can't say if it's a waste or not; I haven't broken anything yet (knock on wood), but I don't know if I've been in a situation where it should have broke without it. Mostly got it for insurance.

Yep,
I think a lot of Jeeps run the Synergy set up being that is an all inclusive way to sure up the sector shaft and the track bar frame bracket that is easily bolted on with no modifications to the vehicle and no real difficulty in installation. I am using the sector brace and track bar bracket that is required to have the sector brace. I'm also using the appropriate Synergy adjustable track bar. Everything plays well with my 37" tires. I am also using the Red Neck Ram Assist that many feel precludes the need for the sector shaft brace, but to have both isn't hurting anything.
You'll need a pitman arm puller, you can rent one from a local parts store and return it when your done.

Typically, Synergy recommends their bar. I know that the RK bar will not work, you would almost need to find a person that tried this combination, or be the first to try a Metalcloak track bar with the Synergy track bar brace to see. I say that you have a 50/50 chance of success!
Option B is to post up and sell the Metalcloak track bar and just move on with life.

I am running the synergy sector shaft brace, track bar and drag link.
All works well.
I installed it after my first wheeling trip on 35's... The amount of steering effort while locked made me believe that shaft was going to snap or tear the box mounts off. It all worked beautifully, no complaints. Having done the brace, I felt much better about the longevity of the box/shaft, but still could not turn when locked and all jacked-up/off-kilter in the rocks.
Ended up going with a full PSC hydro assist setup, now I can steer and have no worries about the box/shaft.
I realize everything is budget related, but, if you have the funds, I would advise trussing the front axle (Our club has seen snaped D44 axle tubes... even on stock size tires) while you are doing C gussets. And, if you are going to wheel it in difficult terrain, start saving for hydro assist.
