Any way to increase # of splines on d30 axle

That's what I'm lookin for. Thats the only problem w/ a new model jeep, parts are unavailable and expensive (comparatively).
I will do that... custom built axle shafts sound like alot of $. I have to be able to justify it, otherwise i'm stuck waiting for enough $ to buy a d60.

Dammit! I have been trying to fit these into my budget for a couple days now. Hahaha, Congratulations man, they look very well built. Pretty much my exact plans for my d30 and d44...Let us all know how they hold up, and see if you can get more info about the super30 deal....

Unless you only plan on running 35s I'd say ditch that D30 as soon as possible. You may be able to get away with running chromo shafts, but if you build the crap out of a D30 you are going to detonate ring and pinions like no other. Yes, people have done this and that with them, but in truth you will be more confident and better off just budgeting for a replacement front axle. Get your hands on a bent Rubi 44 and have a shop retube and build it up for you (which can happen at a very reasonable cost). If too hard to find then the Currie 60 with 44 outers is a terrific budget option.
