any lift for 2008 unlimited with no rub
I want at least a 2 inch budget boost lift. I am hesitant to buy one with all the issues about rubbing, Does anyone have a 2008 with a budget boost lift and stock 255/75/17's with no rubbing?

do you mean the rubbing of the rear sway bar?
unless you get bigger tires you won't have rubbing issues on the front with the steering or in the rear.
And i'm sure someone else will correct me if i'm wrong, but the suspension setup on the rear is identical to the 07 on the 08 so you'd still have to install the swaybar links inside the bar to avoid them rubbing. and as long as you do that, you'll have no problems.

What I have heard is there is a difference between the 07 and 08. I just want to get some lift and run my stock 255/75/17's. I just dont want spacers, because I will get tires and rims after I wear these down.

I'm running 2"bb and 33x12.50r18s and haven't had any rubbing issues whatsoever. Even played in some mud holes today,(don't have any rocks around here) some were pretty deep and no rubbing. Also my bb didn't come with any brackets or anything just 4 spacers and shocks. I've got about a thousand miles on it and no complaints.

Ben how is the ride with the new shocks? Are they longer than the original I hope? How much did your lift cost and where do I get one?
Your jeep is great by the way

I cheaped out and got the cheaper shocks like a dumbass. But it still doesn't ride that bad. ( I say that cause I got used to it riding like a car, now it rides like my tj did.) If you do it get the mono tube shocks, I hear they're worth the extra $. As for my lift I run the rubicon express 2" bb it cost around $350 with the cheap shocks and you can get it from David at northridge4x4.com who is a sponsor here.

I think you'll be happy, hell there's a guy on here that runs 35"s with the same lift. When, not if, I go to 35"s I'll probably add the m.o.r.e. 1" bl and call it a day.
