I have TF3" and 35s and there is a super low parking structure around here and no problems what so ever. minimum height is 7', but moves up to 8'6" for handicap accessable spots/routes

I don't believe there are any legal or building code specs that require 7' clearance. My JK stands 6'7" and there are several structures I could not or wasn't willing to try to clear.

The tire + lift selection you mention should keep you under 6'4"-6'5" which should be OK in the majority of parking decks.

If you have less than 4-5" clearance it can be scary driving in a structure. Once the antenna starts banging on the ceiling anything can happen.

I have a 3-inch lift and I go into Atlantic City Casino parking garages. It does freak me out as I feel Im gonna hit the top even though Im reassured by people outside the JK that I have plenty of room.

I've got a 2.5BB + 35's and fit into a 6'7" garage last week.

I was about to easily touch the columns and beams with my hand out of window and had an inch or two of clearance.

I have a Teraflex 3 inch and 35s. Im shorter than my wifes Excursion which is stock. I don't think you will have any problems at all. Most parking structures will accomidate anything that will fit in a standard garage. Im sure there are a few examples out there that are shorter but I bet more the exception rather than the rule.

Make your jeep cool and park on top of someone out side.

Here in California, it's written into the building code that a parking structure shall not be less that 7' clear. That means every pipe, duct or light has to be above 7'. It's also written into the code that all ADA parking spots and all routes to an ADA parking spot must have 8'6" clear. Again all equipment has to be above 8'6" to make room for those vans that have wheelchair lifts in them. Sad I know this, my job is real exiting.

Yea it's not always enforced well or by the time it's noticed something is wrong it's too late.

I am in Cali, and I can tell you there are many parking garages around the San Fernando valley and LA that are 6'7. The one I use every day is 6'7. So, it may be law that they are 7', but lots of law breakers.
