Another regear question...
I know there are a billion threads on here but I figured that every set up is different and that the best answer I can get is by providing the best info I have.
So can someone help a newbie out with what gears to buy?
My set up:
3.5" Aev lift on a 200JKU X
35X12.5X17 rims
I was thinking of going 4.88 but a local shop suggested 5.13
I don't want to end up over-gearing and thought I'd ask what everyone thought before I jumped into things...
Thanks guys!

My vote
In a nutshell...
My brother got 4:88's same Jeep as you, did improve hugely from 3:73 stock but still doesn't hold OD under 75-80. I don't like it; sluggish.
I just went 5:38's and love it. Would have been curious to drive one with the 5:13's but I kinda flipped a coin.
Both Jeeps are on 35's but I chose the 5:38's cuz I have bumpers, winch, Gobi rack etc...,
I have a strong vote for NOT going 4:88.
Superchips shift point adjuster is a joke. I tinkered with them many times and they never came out to be what I set them to. I am happy with the Superchips preset shift points on the 87 and 91 program though.
Hope this helps!

I've got the auto & 35's with 5.13's and I think it's great. With the D30 axle there is also a lot of talk of the ring and pinions being too small and prone to breakage....don't have any first hand experience with that but something to consider.
