Default Another "does it fit" thread

I know there a lot, sorry! still Learning this stuff! is the backspacing and everything ok on these wheels if I run 35 MTR/k's?
the wheel is the ATX slot black with machined lip. they are 16x8. Backspacing is 4.48. and offset is 0.

actually what bout the same wheels but 17x9. Offset: -12mm. Backspacing: 4.52"

You want around 4.5" of backspacing or less. So either of those wheels will work just fine.

ok what does offset mean?
why would I want a wider wheel? what the difference in 305 tires and 35 tires? thanks!

Offset and backspacing are just two different ways of measuring the same thing. BS is just much easier to understand and visualize. As for the "305", in th emetric sizing system the first number is the width of the tire in millimeters. 305's and 315's are basically 12.50 inches wide.

is the 315/75 or 35/12.50 gonna be taller?

A 315/75/15 converts to 34.6 inches

I prefer the squar peg round hole method.
