Ok say that you had a lift kit, say 3 in. This was just a coil and shock lift kit. If you put on u and lca's and replaced the coils and shocks with the new Evo bolt in coilovers, or any coilovers for that matter; would the coilovers set the total height of the lift?

I think so, but depending on the length of your upper and lower control arms, your geometry could be way off. If you went from a 2.5 or 3" lift to say 4-6" with the coilovers, I would imagine you would need some long adjustable CAs all around ( for pinion angle and caster) as well as new track bars at the least. JMO.

I agree, anything above 6 in though I'd just go to a long arm.

Ok kind of an off topic question, have you rode in the king shocks ( top off the line rr shocks, the nicest kind they have)

yes, they are nice but, your shocks are only a part of the equation. most of your ride quality comes from the coils you run and, while a good set of shocks can help a stiff set of coils, it's better to pair them up with a set of coils that have a spring rate that is best suited for them.
