Default Am I missing something?

I have the SOLID front diff cover and it seems like I have to reseal the diff cover everytime I go wheelin. Im using regular RTV gasket maker. Is there something special needed to seal the SOLID cover. Im not hitting on anything I have a million times on other jeeps. PS.. I have a pic in my gallery

Try a LubeLock'r gasket. 1,000's of miles on mine and not a drop!

P.S. Be sure not to over-torque your bolts.

Not that you haven't but did you make sure to thoroughly clean both mating surfaces of RTV prior to reinstalling it? Also, are you making sure to bolt them on in a criss cross pattern and then tighten them to 25-30 ft. lbs. of torque. It is very important that you do NOT over torque these bolts and that installation of the cover should be done within a 5 minute after applying the RTV.
