Default Aluminum vs steel bumpers

Crappy stock bumper has been crushed. Ready to upgrade. Considering aluminum for weight, but worried that lack of weight vs steel may make it less effective in a wreck. I carry my kids around in this rig, so its important to me. Anyone know of any crash testing, etc? Would love to see some data.

Try Pavement Ends front bumper. They are 40lbs~45lbs and are super tuff steel looking. Stock ones are 30lbs, so not much increase there. BTW; you can add a winch plate and winch to my bumper should I ever want one.

I wish somebody sold a Egyptian J8 military style, simple, light, and steel.

Take a look at GenRight bumpers. I have the aluminum front and steel rear. I really like them. Very good quality.
