Neither, go with 34s. these are 305/70-17 Goodyear MTRs with Kevlar. they measure 34.1 without weight of jeep on them. Great in between size, they also fit nicely on stock tire carrier with 4.5 inch backspacing. I would go with either a 34 or 35. you prob wont be happy with 33 if you off road at all.

I run 33s on 3.21 with a manual and it's just fine. If I had a manual 3.73, I would go 35s. However, you have an auto... so stick with some beefy 33s.

I think 33s are the best tire for a 2 to 2.5 " lift 2 door JK. If you have an unlimited, get 35s.

35s on 2.5" lift here, no way I'd want any less. But I do have the gearing and wheel the hell outta it.

Averaging 16-19mpg it goes along pretty decent, full stuff without extended bumpstops

I would go 35s but need the $$$ for regear! And its too much hassle really.

Might move up from a 32.8" duratrac to a 33.5" M16

Unless it's all about the looks or you're going to go with a bigger lift (plus regearing) and do some serious rock crawling I'd say save the money and go with 33". I never understood the obsession with 35" tires. I had 33x12.50 tires on my XJ and never came across a trail that I couldn't get through...

Well, certainly nothing that a 35" tire would have made the difference on!

Ballpark cost: $1200-1500. Assuming you pay a professional to do it (recommended unless whomever is doing the work for free for you is very experienced at gear installs).

no regearing, auto, 2dr, more DD....
I think the 2 dr. looks good with 33's and for what youre saying your situation is I think its really the best choice
