Alright guys, let me have it...33's or 35's ?
Recently picked up an 08 sahara 2 dr - auto w/3.73's. So far installed R/C 2.5 BB, next comes tires. I have factory 18's and can possibly pick up a set of factory 17"s cheap, so I will most likely need spacers. Daily driver and very little off roading. I don't have the $$ for regearing. I was thinking the G/Y Duratracs..........do I go with the 33's or 35"s ? Already searched and it seems mixed, so let your experience and opinions fly!

If you're not the kind of guy who is sure they don't want 35's... You will eventually want 35's. Sooner than later if you hang around here alot.
I personally think 33's look too small on a JK.
You'll be doggin a little with the 3.73's but I lived with it with my 2 dr.

I have 35" procomp TA's on stock Rubi wheels with 3.73 gears and a manual tranny. I've been pretty happy with my setup. I have a 2.5" skyjacker coil lift. It rides great.

Hmmm.. Auto w/ 3.73 ? You can go 33's with little changes and be fine. If you think you will want 35's (We all do at some pt.) then it may be time for a re-gear. I have had both and I sold my 33's w/ just 4000 miles on them.
Have heard great things about the Duratracs.
I ran w/ 5.13s and 33's for awhile then finally got the 35's. (Which is now a good combo for me.)
All depends on what ya want! Good luck

[X] Don't want to regear
[X] Don't off road much
I say 33's. Depending on who you ask you may still have small tire syndrome. If you don't plan on wheelin it, or regearing, I say 33s.

Just do the 35s...you'll end up getting them anyways !
I ran 33's and 35s on 4.10s for about a year....it was ok. My mpgs were in the crapper...like 12mpg city and 15 hwy. I think 35s on 3.73s would be pretty painful.
I love my 5.13s and could NEVER go back !!

I agree with this. Only you know if you really prefer the look of 35s. If so, then go ahead with 35s, but be prepared for even more reduced performance (both from larger tire diameter, and from more mass to get moving). If you do decide on 35s, you may find that your more expensive tires are driving you to the additional expense of regearing. Do you really want to risk spending that much money (let's say 2Gs) just for looks?
