Alignment question after lift
Is there a need to align the jk after a 2" teraflex lift. The instructions say you should be I cant wrap my head around how geometry has changed on a straight axle

What Dirtman wrote. But, as you lift the JK, the trackbars are pushing the axles opposite directions--left and right of vehicle travel. So, if you have adjustable trackbars, you can bring them back into proper tracking (the rear tires directly behind the fronts) under the center of the Jeep. Also, as you lift you change caster because the front axle shifts. That will appear as flighty steering. The typical (probably best) correction is adjustable front lower control arms so you can dial in the caster (but not too much or the front driveshaft will be unhappy). Hope that helps you "wrap your head around how geometry has changed" ... LOL.

Im runnin 34" tires and I have noticed the steering seems more sensitive. I just hate to go waste 50 bucks for an alignment if I dont need it. Really dont want to contribute for funky tire wear either...

Both axles will shift to one side. Unless you add components, this is not adjustable.
The camber is not affected. If it is out of spec, something is worn or bent.
What you are paying for :
The steering wheel will be turned to one side. (Loosen two bolts and twist the draglink turnbuckle to straighten. 5 minutes and a wrench.)
The toe is not affected, but is adjustable.
A pretty printout with all the numbers. (numbers are a good thing, but find a place that does cheap/free checks before paying for a full alignment)

steering wheel is straight so no problem there. Ill look for a cheap shop and have them check it for free hopefully. Looking down the sides of the jeep everything seems straight and in line.
