Alignment after a lift
I just installed a 2.5 TF Coil lift and I was wondering why the directions say to do an alignment afterwards
The alignment is effected by:
Camber (Not adjustable unless you added adjustable ball joints)
Caster (not adjustable unless you purchased adjustable arms, if you did you would not be installing only 2.5" of lift)
Toe In (this is adjustable but would not change since that is tied directly to the axle)
Steering wheel angle (this you can do with a 15mm wrench and 30-45 seconds of time)
Axle position (not adjustable unless you purchased adjustable track bars)
Is there something I am missing?

We just installed a Teraflex 2.5 BB and Cooper STT 33's on my buddy's Sahara. He had a local shop check his alignment afterwards just for peace of mind and they said it was dead on. I have the same combo on mine and it is wearing evenly with no alignment done.

and exactly why i try to discourage people from taking their jeeps into an alignment shop for something like a 2.5" BB. i mean, we're talking 5 min to recenter your steering wheel and 5 min to adjust your toe if so desired. how much do front end alignments go these days?
