Well, it seems like most of the basic engine mod (air intake, etc) is not worth the money for the 4.0L engine. However, te CAI for 3.8 engine seems to be VERY worht it....at least for me. So, i'm really curious on the effect of TBS on the 3.8L engine. We can't really say that because it's worthless on the old 4.0L engine, it'll be worthless on this one too...they're 2 totally different engines.
So, if anybody is brave enough to try this, please chime in

I still think they are just a scam, especially on a manifold like the JK's.
But to each their own, if they feel it helps, good for them
I just think its funny how they claim to help atomization, of a DRY intake manifold design, that has port fuel injection at the bottom of the intake runners
All they are doing is causing turbulance in the manifold, and air turbulence slows down the air flow and volume.
If turbulance/atomization was a good thing, then why do all cold air intakes replace the rippled factory tube for a smooth one and claim to flow more air faster with smooth tubes? lol

yea me too.
I did'nt notice a big diff changing the exaust but when I changed the intake too I was able to notice the added power. hopefully the spacer and all the other stuff will work together and help out a little more...

4hp is not saying much at all.
Hell.... Ive seen dyno results very that much on vehicles with no changes being made between runs, even when allowing cool downs or not!
Out of all the dyno runs Ive seen in person (over 20 different cars) Ive never seen any one car run more then two passes within 3-4hp of each other.
The amount of time it took them to install that spacer between runs, was probably enough time for engine to cool down, which gave them 3 of that 4hp gain LOL

Save your money, don't buy the spacer. 4HP isn't enough to quantify on a dyno. Like everyone else has said, I've had many back to back runs vary more than that, and cooling an engine down for 10 minutes while you install a spacer could net you the 4HP. They can spout theory all they want, I've been involved in high performance cars/trucks for too long to spot a shiny terd when I see one.
