Air Question.
What does everyone use to Air up and down for trail rides ??
As in, what gague do people use to measure out air quick and accurately ?
also what do you use to fill it back up ??
I would like to get some sort of onboard air set up so I can just plug in and fill my own tires back up at the end of the day but I am clueless as to what would be the best system to get... and also whats the cheapest solution that is reliable...
I am going to be running 35's soon enough but for now I am on stock rubi wheels...
also... what are everyones ranges for what they air down too for each type of off road surface... and what do they air back up too ??

I have the Masterflow Tsunami for airing up. I have the Teraflex tire deflators for airing down. The screw onto the valve stem.
You can get the MasterFlow at PepBoys or anything other auto parts store. you'll see it under various manufacturers, but its all the same thing.

I use the ARB air down tool, second link. Me on board air system is custom by me but uses the ARB large air compressor and i would suggest the first link for a simple set-up.

There were several On-Board air and CO2 threads in the last two months or so. A quick search should bring them up. Lots of good ideas on setups, what to use, where to locate them in the jeep, etc.
For the air pressures to run, this is a good starting place:

I use an older quickair 2 portable, similar to the arb portable that jkkat linked. Works very well as is, but I'll get around to adding a tank and mounting it before long.

I use Stauns to air down and a Powertank to air up. I was running 12 last time out at Rausch Creek and I blew a bead on Crawler Ridge, so I might bump it up to 14. My wheels are not beadlocks.
I'm not positive about the stock Rubi tires, but without beadlocks you generally don't go below 10 psi.
There are on board air systems for every budget. You can spend anywhere from $400 for a Viair complete system to over $1k for a York style system. I went with the Powertank ($500) because I can use it to air up and to run air tools, and it can be used independent from the Jeep.
There are several threads about each type of system to be found here on the forum. Just do a search for on board air, and you'll have info overload!
