Air Horn Installed -- On Board Air System
Well I did it! I was inspired by one of our members. The install went fairly well, I had some minor fabrication problems. I installed the 1-gallon tank and the compressor inside the front bumper. I had to drop the sway bar to fit the tank in. I chopped off the 2 plastic screws holding the top plastic bumper plate on and removed it.(giving me access from the top. Advanced Auto sell the plastic screws for a couple of bucks. I drilled some holes into the cross beam and mounted the compressor. I made a bracket for the air tank. Ran the hose up to the top and added a Air Terminal Block. It now has a female air jack for accessories. I found the power from M9--Heated seats.
I made a bracket for the air horn itself, similiar to the one I found here. I mounted a electrical terminal block underneat the steering wheel on that aluminum frame. I jumpered some terminals and added a 20amp fuse to the power for the compressor.

Last one.
I had a couple of problems:
Forgot how to wire the switch.
Had the air switch in backwards--leaking by.
Some air leaks--almost every connection.
I also added a foot well switch on the side of the plastic housing near my left foot.
Thanks All.
John
