Default Aggressive Tires on pavement....

What tires wear well on pavement?

I currently have Kumho MTRs and they have worn down in a year to wear they are loud as F*@K.

I need to get new tires, and looking for aggressive tread, but i'm on pavement 95% of the time.

I went with Kumhos because they didn't break the bank....well of course i'm regretting that decision now that i'm needing tires so soon.

yeah, if tread life is important, bfg mt's are what i would recommend as well. like any mt, you need to rotate them often, maybe once every 3,000 miles to help keep them quite over the long haul.

running bfg's, i've been able to get about 60,000 useable miles out of them. my last set of toyo's, i was able to get about 45,000 out of them. i probably could have put another 10,000 miles on them if i just spent time on pavement but, they just didn't have enough tread left for the trail.

If you balance and take care of them, they last a long time

I have the Hankook M/T so far so good about 13,000 miles still at 19/32 rotated twice.

I had those Kumhos on a little truck I used to have. I wasn't a fan either. I have the Hankook Dynapro MT's on my Jeep now and I love'em. Low noise (for an MT), good wear, good ride, and great off-road. Didn't break the bank either. I'd get'em a little bigger next time.

PS - If you're going to be on pavement all the time why not go an aggressive A/T? BFG AT KO or Duratracs or something?
