Just wondering if anyone could tell me if the aftermarket JK hoods like the AEV Heat Reduction Hood and similar models offer better protection against hail than the stock hoods. We got some quarter sized hail where I live and it made some tiny little dimples on my stock hood...barely noticeable, but still annoying cause I know they are there. Also, can someone tell me if the side vents on the AEV hood suck in any rain water by the air intake, or are the vents shielded somehow prevent water from getting under the hood? Thanks!
