Im totally with all of you on the AEV hood. My problem is that I got the employee discount on the mw3 black ops hood and I have it now and it does not have the vents like many of the ones I have saw on the internet. I guess I should have looked into it a bit more before i had them order it. The thing was just enticing with the next day delievery that I had on it now Im trying to return it so i can just order the AEV DAMMIT ME thats what I get for wanting stuff now...... O and I love the rescue green and black

I thought the mw3 hood was AEV? I just stopped by dealership on Friday and gawked at the mw3 model on the lot. Looks very similar.

I also thought the MW3 was an AEV hood. Does it not have the vents where the snorkel goes or what?

I honestly like the look of the MW3 hood (AEV w/o the side vents) and have no plans to ever add a snorkel. What did it run you through the dealer?

MW3 hood $1600 find a person that works for chrysler and with their discount is is like $1150 or so out the door after taxes. and yes everywhere I read its says AEV makes the mw3 hood but I didnt see their stamp anywhere on this MOPAR hood

The MW3 hood is an AEV hood without any vents on the top and side. AEV makes the hood but it is licensed as a MOPAR part. Like the MOPAR mirrror relocation brackets are made by Rugged Ridge and re-packaged (read: Re-priced).
