Default aFe Jeep Wrangler Magnum Force Stage 2 Si Cold Air Intake System

It's a mouthfull, and I tried searching it out in the "search" function with no luck. So, what I want to know is does anyone have one of these jobs? I like it because it is enclosed and has a reusable DRY filter. If you have one, what do you think? I am not looking for great power increases or MPG to greatly increase, just looking for a dry, reusable filter. Thanks.

I've been waiting for someone to review this as well...
I was almost sold on the AEM due to it's dry filter but this appears to have a better housing/box.

If you have this intake please post a review.

Thanks,

Rob

Looks like a pretty good unit, a bit pricey though. I can't imagine that it is any less effective than any other CAI, I say go for it!

I'm also looking at either this, or S&B's intake. I narrowed it down to these 2 simply because they both use a enclosed box. The Volant unit looks good too, but they are way over priced. The price really isn't that bad, have you seen how much the Trueflow XDI is? You wont be able to ford water as deep as you can with your stock airbox, but other than that, I can't see a down side to these 2.

I think most of these CAI are BS. I would like to see a dyno comparison between a simple K&N replacement filter and all of the CAI on the market.

I just put the S&B on a few days ago. It's too soon to tell about gas mileage, but there is a definite difference in the power. There's a road up a hill I take occasionally that has a steady incline and about 700 ft increase in elevation. With the factory box, I was constantly dropping in and out of passing gear just to get up the hill. I drove it yesterday, maintained 60 mph and never dropped into passing gear.

If there was a dry aftermarket filter made for the JK, I would go that route.

Aren't the AEM cai & Volant Power Core cai's Dry Filters that do not require any oiling...Have you looked into them? Thanks....

Are they drop in filters? Sorry, I was not clear on that. I want a dry, drop in filter. The AFE enclosed CAI with a dry filter is as close as I can get to that, as far as I know.
