AFE CAI Whistle?

AFE CAI Whistle?
I installed my AFE CAI this weekend, started noticing a whistle when I start to press the gas. Goes away as I press harder. No noticiable trend with speed or rpm, just on the gas pedal position.
Just searched the forum, found that this might be typical for at least Airaid, possible all CAIs? Is this true, just a known side effect? Any possible remedies? Reposition the connector tube, tighten (or loosen?) the clamps, maybe turn the sensor? Wash the filter? If not, I'll have to keep riding and see if the whistle is too annoying.
I do notice more giddyup, a better rumble to the engine, and was previously getting ~280 miles per tank so I will find out if it helps my mpg.

I've had my AirRaid installed for 2 days now and I haven't noticed any whistling or air tunnel sounding noises just that nice low growl.
I've even been driving with my windows down and with the radio off to make sure.
Maybe the whistle sound comes after a 'break in' period?

I have a whistle when I just start to press on the gas. Thing is it sounds like its coming from underneath the Jeep on not the front. I had the whistle before I installed my Airaid CAI. I would love to find the reason for it and fix cuz it drives me friggin nuts.

Thanks for the responses, you confirmed what I was afraid of. Just a typical side effect. I'll live with it for a 1000 miles or so, maybe try to tweak a little, then make a decision.

We have the AFE and yes it whistles... I kinda like it... But I have read on here awhile ago that someone kept readjusting the airtubes until it went away. It was alot of trial and error.

I've got an Airaid and the whistling has been driving me bonkers. Do people still say that? lol Anyway, I have tightened, loosened, adjusted, etc all of the clamps. hoses, still have the whistle. I thought that perhaps because the Airaid is made of plastic, that perhaps the plastic was flexing a bit when it's being tightened, and thus creating a small gap which could cause the whistling. I looked and looked and retightened and finally removed the CAI all together. What I found was that with the CAI off and nothing attached to the throttle body, that when it's in drive (I've got an auto) and you give it gas, the whistle comes in at the same point as with the CAI. So it's a question of something with the throttle body and not the CAI itself. The reason I believe it's not noticeable with the stock intake is because it's more restrictive, allowing in less air to create the whistle. When more air is allowed in the whistle becomes more pronounced. The whistle with the intake completely off was more noticeable than with it on. I didn't drive the car, just held the break and gave it gas to get it to the point where my whistle comes in (1900rpms).
I'm not sure what can be done, if anything to correct this. It might just be a trade off. Restricted airflow and no whistle or better airflow, growl, etc and dealing with the whistle.
As of now since I have decided it's not the AirAid, I'm on the fence about whether I should just put the stock housing back on, because the whistle annoys me so much. Mine is of a high pitched variety that sounds rather like squealing brakes. I however know the whistle is there and listen for it. A friend was in the car and he didn't notice anything really.
So, I recommend people attempt adjustments, but if you've tried every possible combo of adjusting, give it a shot with no intake at all, you'll probably hear a whistle as I did.
