AEV vs. Metalcloak

AEV vs. Metalcloak
I'm looking at 2.5" to 3.5" lifts for my 2014 unlimited rubi. Looking for somewhat of an expedition type, maybe going to run 35's. Was wondering if anyone had any experience with both and could say which gets better highway ride, and which one does better off road? Metal cloak looks like it comes with more goodies? 3.5" anyways. Any help is appreciated.

I ran the Metalcloak 3.5 Game Changer on my 2011 JKU, it was taller than advertised. With the lift and their fenders I ended up running 37's to fit and look right. I may go with their lift for my 2014, but would prob go with the 2.5 if running 35's. It rode great, I loved the kit, but haven't run the AEV, so I can't compare the two for you.

Highway ride is subjective.
Metalcloak wins Offroad.
You might also want to consider a 2.5 lift... less collateral issues, especially for an expedition vehicle and you can still fit 35's with trimming.

Go with Metalcloak. More for your money, and you can always buy the drop brackets at some point in the future. Highway ride is subjective. Metalcloak wins Offroad. Metalcloak hands down is the better lift. Their game changer lifts are just that, game changing.
I run the 2.5" coils and 35s with flat fenders with bumpers front and rear and could clear 37s with trimming of the pinch seam.

I have the aev 2.5" with the drop brackets. I can't say enough good things about it. I drive 40 miles a day mostly highway. The ride is second to none. It handles so much better than stock or my previous leveling kit.

OP... you might want to be more specific and ask from people that have either run both or understand the dynamics of these two systems. Probably will cut your responses down to next to nothing, but you might actually get real world feedback rather than hearsay.

I hear the rough county 4" lift rides better then stock and flexes awesome off road.
If you understand the differences in how the AEV and Metalcloak go about engineering their systems the answer to your question should be clear.
